Building toward the 2027 riding season
RIDES, EVENTS AND 2027 LAUNCH
Rocky Mountain Renegades RC is in its founding phase through winter 2026–27. The focus is on meeting experienced riders, building the right core group, and preparing for a Spring 2027 launch.
The goal is a structured, respectful riding club built around safe riding, accountability, community involvement, and real long-term commitment.
Prospective riders are welcome to introduce themselves now. Official rides will begin with the 2027 season and will be limited to approved participants based on membership status and Good Standing.
BUILDING THE FOUNDING GROUP
A limited founding group is being built through winter 2026–27. Founding recognition is reserved for riders who genuinely help establish the Club’s culture, structure, and first season.
Founding riders can expect
- A defined path toward full membership and Club identifiers
- Early involvement in planning the first 2027 riding season
- Permanent founding recognition when the required standards are met
- Opportunities to take on responsibility as the Club develops
- A voice in helping establish culture, expectations, and direction
- Participation in building the Red Deer founding chapter
The founding group will help set the tone, culture, and future of the Club. Qualifying founding members will be recorded in official Club records as foundational contributors to the Red Deer Chapter.
FIRST RIDING SEASON — SPRING 2027
The first official riding season is planned for Spring 2027, beginning with the Red Deer founding chapter and riders from the surrounding Central Alberta area.
- Approved members will receive ride announcements directly
- Participation will be based on member status and Good Standing
- Ride privileges will follow the Club’s membership and safety standards
OFFICIAL RIDE STANDARDS
Ride command structure
When official rides begin, they will operate under a defined chain of command to support safety, order, and consistency.
- The Road Captain has operational command of route, formation, and safety decisions
- The Tail Gunner maintains rear formation integrity and hazard communication
- Riders follow formation rules, spacing, regroup procedures, and safety briefings
- Do not break formation or depart the ride without Road Captain direction, except for emergencies
Safety is not optional, it is operational
Eligibility and Good Standing
Official rides will be open to approved participants only. This protects rider safety and keeps the standard consistent from the beginning.
- Full Riding Members in Good Standing
- Approved Prospects under sponsor supervision
- Invited Guests when authorized for a specific event
Once active membership begins, Good Standing will require dues to be current and the member not to be under active restrictions. Ride privileges may be suspended until Good Standing is restored.
RIDE SAFETY PROTOCOL
For future official rides, the emergency priority is simple: protect riders, secure the scene, then communicate and coordinate.
- Secure the scene and protect riders
- Follow Road Captain direction immediately
- Contact emergency services when required
- Stay with the group unless emergency services instruct otherwise
If you have questions about ride safety, formation expectations, or the standards planned for 2027, reach out directly.
MEMBERSHIP AND PATCH PROGRESSION
Membership is earned through participation, reliability, conduct, and progression. Founding recognition does not bypass the standards required to represent the Club responsibly.
The progression system protects the strength and integrity of the Club and ensures identifiers are earned, respected, and worn responsibly.
EXPERIENCED RIDERS WELCOME
Rocky Mountain Renegades RC is looking to meet experienced, dependable riders who value respect, safe riding, community, and purpose. Motorcycle style matters less than maturity, reliability, and how you ride with others.
The founding chapter is being built in Red Deer. Calgary and Edmonton remain possible future expansion areas after the Red Deer chapter is established.
